Let me start off by saying that anyone interested in reiki should ABSOLUTELY go for it!! It's one of the best decisions I've ever made and I'm going to tell you why.
When I went for my first treatment I had so many different feelings. I was scared, I was skeptical, I was hopeful and I was excited. I was introduced to reiki during a very stressful time in my life and I was honestly at the point where I felt hopeless and lost. I was battling not only with physical pains but also deep rooted emotional ones. My best friend suggested that I try reiki because she had been getting treatments and it was the greatest thing she'd ever done. She swore by it! So I decided to go for it and man am I glad I did. From the first moment I met Sheila at Love Reiki, my life has completely changed for the better. She's a wonderful, compassionate woman and she genuinely cares for her clients. She has such a beautiful energy about her and it's no wonder that people feel at ease while in her company, I certainly did. She made me feel welcomed and greeted me as though we had known each other for ages. Normally I have a very difficult time around people, especially new people but my anxiousness just melted away. When I went in for my treatment, which lasted about an hour, I was suffering from severe lower back pain as well as emotional turmoils. I was in a place in my life that felt very dark and dreary and I was looking for some kind of miracle to help me find my way back. During the treatment, I became relaxed (which is honestly a very difficult task for me) and I started to feel myself losing the tension and sadness I had been holding onto. My back pain started to lesson more and more. I could literally feel the yuck being replaced with positivity and light. Words don't do justice for the transformation that I underwent on the inside and this was just my first treatment!! One treatment!!! When it was over I felt lighter, I felt like I had been overtaken by a love I didn't even know I still had inside of me, the sadness was gone, the frustration and hopelessness had melted away and the pain in my lower back had completely disappeared. I was in absolute awe!! How could this one lovely woman do for me in an hour what my Drs hadn't been able to do in a couple of years or so. It's an indescribable experience but it's an amazing experience also. I fell so in love with reiki and the miracles that happened because of it that I decided that I too wanted to learn how to be able to do this for others. Luckily Sheila not only offers treatments but she also offers classes for those of us who want to be able to pay it forward with this beautiful gift. I look at the world from a completely different point of view now and I can honestly say that it was because of my experience with Sheila at love reik
I would recommend her to anyone who asked and I would absolutely recommend trying reiki at least once in your life but if your experience is anything like mine was then I'm pretty sure after one treatment you'll be as in love with it as I am and once won't be enough.
